'My
husband and I looked around at daycare centres in the area and were
so happy when we learned Tender Years would be opening at the Ajax
Go Station as it would be very convenient for us. We did comparisons
with other daycare centres and decided to try Tender Years (great
location, competitive prices, new facility). Even before our daughter
Myra started at the daycare, the staff were very easy to get a hold
of and very prompt at answering any questions or concerns we had.
Myra took a while to get used to going to daycare but the staff
were very patient with her and would always update us if we called
during the day to check on her. The reports that we received at
the end of the day showed what kind of a mood she was in, what she
ate, how long her nap was, who she played with, diaper changes and
the activities she took part in. We loved hearing about her day!
Initially I was quite concerned about Myra getting enough of a nap
- to say she is not a good sleeper is an understatement - the staff
at Tender Years worked with her and developed their own way of getting
her to sleep at nap time (without having her cry herself to sleep).
I was so surprised and happy when I found out that the staff had
come up with a individualized sleep schedule for Myra that worked
for her. I felt like they went above and beyond in order to get
her to sleep and I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and dedication.....I
knew then without a doubt that we had chosen the right place for
our daughter to be while we were at work!
The staff at Tender Years made us feel very comfortable to leave
Myra with them, we found that each teacher seemed to develop a great
relationship with our daughter and we could tell that our daughter
was getting comfortable with them as she would reach for them when
we dropped her off each morning - what a relief! I also noticed
that not only the staff from the infant room knew Myra, but the
whole staff knew her name and would say hello to her. It was a great
feeling knowing that our daughter was cared for by everyone at Tender
Years.
We are moving out of the province and wish we could take Tender
Years with us! We are very sad to be leaving such a caring and wonderful
environment and only hope that where we are going has a facility
that is half as nice. I would recommend this facility to anyone
who is considering daycare for children of any age. Judi and the
staff are wonderful and seem to go above and beyond when it comes
to providing a nurturing, healthy, happy daycare.

We can't thank the Tender Years staff
for taking such good care of our daughter. We have really seen her
thrive in the past couple of months that she's been attending. Research
shows that a child learns everything they need to know in life during
the first 5 years, and we are so fortunate that we found a daycare
that does that. Our daughter receives the love and care that she
needs when she needs to be comforted and cuddled. She is kept interested
with activities that use fine motor skills, art, story time, and
play based learning activities. She is even learning to communicate
with us through baby sign language! Words can't even describe the
joy and pride that we feel knowing that our child is in a safe,
nuturing enviroment. At the end of the day, if we see that our child
is happy, then we are happy.

Tender
Years childcare is godsend as our 14month old daughter just loves
to be there. As every concerned parent we were extremely careful
in choosing a daycare. We are so happy with our choice not only
because of the location and hours but the exceptional service
we receive from the staff. They engage her with fun filled activities
through out the day, take the time to understand the needs of
a one year old and are very accommodative with our requests. We
have absolutely no worries about her while at work as we know
that she is getting the very best possible care. The playroom
is kept clean, colorful and is stuffed with interactive toys appropriate
for the age group. The staff makes sure that the kids are fed
nutritious meals everyday. We also love to read the report everyday
detailing about her day. Our daughter is always happy and jumps
to the caregiver when we leave her in the morning. That in itself
shows the attention and care she receives at the center. I just
want to thank all the staff who is doing an amazing job. Our best
wishes to Tender Years for a very bright and successful future.

We
love “Tender Years Childcare” and we are proud to
say that we would highly recommend TYCC to others. We do so whenever
we are given the opportunity!
Our
son Liam has been in childcare since he was 9 months old. For
a variety of reasons, and with some trepidation, we decided to
seek other childcare facilities. Our search brought us to TYCC,
and here is where Liam has been since he was 17 months. The well
being of our son has flourished and we couldn’t be happier
with his development. The level of care our son receives is excellent.
We greatly appreciate all of the hard work and effort given by
all of the staff at TYCC.
TYCC
provides an educational , nurturing and trusting environment.
The staff are not only trained professionals, but they are also
very resourceful, friendly and patient. The environment at TYCC
is warm, inviting and the entire team works very well together,
which gives us a wonderful sense of family.
The
meal plans at TYCC offer a well balanced variety of nutritious
food. We often poke fun at the fact that our son tends to go on
“strike” when it comes to eating at home, but at Tender
Years, he often eats everything on his plate and then ask for
seconds. The facility itself is brand new and it is always neat,
and tidy and clean.
Whether
we are dropping off our little guy or picking him up, there is
always a friendly welcome wagon waiting to greet us.
I
really HAVE to point out that I was ecstatic to find out where
TYCC was located. Kudos to whomever was responsible for making
the decision to have it situated right at the Ajax Go Station.
Talk about location, location, location! Both my husband and I
commute everyday to downtown Toronto, via the Go-train and the
convenience is absolutely extraordinary.
It
is easy to comment and be pleased with the staff’s level
of care and it is even easier to come to expect it from childcare
providers...what is NOT easy and often overlooked are all of the
little ‘subtleties’ that are passed on each day to
our children by TYCC staff. To all of you at Tender Years, a great
big thank you....for these ‘intangibles’ are in part,
what makes your childcare facility the wonderful place that it
is.
